**Q: Will this saw cut peanut brittle?  We are currently struggling with the batch we just made and we need to find a good way to cut it. :)**
A: As others have mentioned, you must use the Planters blade to safely cut peanut brittle.  Since you are already going to spend the additional $30 for the proper blade, I suggest simply buying the Hormel tile and brittle saw that includes the blade.

**Q: Would this be a good saw to cut rocks in half?**
A: Depends on the size of the rock. The material is not an issue -- I use it to cut agates and quartz up to a couple inches in size. The important thing is to go slow and make sure to keep the cut wet.

**Q: What is the biggest size of tile this saw can be used for to do diagonal cuts?**
A: am sure you can cut even 24x24 in. tile. to cut straight get 1x1x 20--24 in, wood and clamp under the table as your guide to cut straight,hope this will help. skil power tools are great and cheaper than MK

**Q: this saw comes w/a diamond blade. would it be good enough to cut little glass mosaic tiles or should I order a different diamond blade?**
A: The blade will cut through the glass tiles just fine, however, I would suggest purchasing a thinner more durable blade. I purchased a Ridgid 7" blade from Home Depot. The Ridgid blade make cleaner cuts and wastes less material because it is a thinner blade.Also, Skil just came out with a new updated model of this saw. I would suggest purchasing that saw instead because it has some much needed improvements. Bang for buck is there thus 4 star, and for a smaller project (a bathroom or two) the downfalls are very manageable. Generally, cuts fine with stock blade. Not recommended for professional day in day out use as the little details would become annoying and feel dysfunctional. The 45 degree guide is a total fail, it clamps to the straight guide but floats too far above the platform, so our tapered subway tile could not firmly fit in it as the guide floated inconsistently above the taper edge. Also, it did not clamp firmly to trust the angle. Splatters like all small machines, mostly directly out the front and to the left side. Can be minimalized by keeping the water level just at the lowest line. This means frequent topping off. As others mention, the water tray is a true pain. I've used the HF suitcase tile saw before and it has a removable plug which is a dream compared to this and if that resource was local to this project, I'd prefer it, even though this machine looks beefier. The platform is too small for larger format tile, so if you are dealing with anything more then 12 x 12 or like a subway up to 16 in., you'll find yourself building out additional platform space. We did this for a 1ft x 2 ft heavy floor tile. No regrets for 2 bathrooms, a kitchen backsplash and an entry way area, BUT mostly due to the amazon convenience.
