## Description

desertcart.com: HomeSpot Bluetooth 5.0 Audio Transmitter Adapter with USB C APTX Low Latency for Nintendo Switch Compatible with AirPods PS5 Bose Sony BT Headphones The Legend of Zelda Theme Azure Blue & Ultra Violet : Video Games

Review: It works well and is awesome. - I had some trouble getting it to pair initially, but got it to pair without having to contact support, and it hasn’t had any trouble auto-pairing since. It is a very slim profile, but I cannot use it and my grip case at the same time BECAUSE it fits so flush to the Switch. There may be some grip cases out there where this is not the case; if yours is completely uncovered at the bottom, then this would work. Mine, the grip case does clip over part of the bottom (ButterFox grip available on desertcart) so I have to pop it off to use this adapter. Just be aware your Switch may have to be naked. I don’t experience any noticeable latency, but I have only used it with Apple AirPod Pros. Do make sure that you are buying the adapter model FOR YOUR SWITCH MODEL. I have noticed people saying they had to shave plastic off to make it fit into their Lite, or conversely that it was too small for their Switch. There are two sizes, folks! There is a model that fits only the Switch LITE, and it comes in three colors to match the three Lite colors. Then there is a bigger one for the regular Switch that comes in several colors. Don’t order strictly on color preference, make sure you also have the right model to accommodate your pick. I bought the gray Switch Lite adapter for my gray Switch Lite and it fits perfectly, no shoving or shaving required. As it is, although I was raging out for about an hour attempting the initial pairing, since then it has worked perfectly and I will absolutely buy this again when I add a full-size Switch to my collection. Why Nintendo couldn’t shell out a little more to license Bluetooth capability is classic Nintendo, always behind the times. But since they didn’t, it’s awesome that this product exists.
Review: Awesome solution to Nintendo's failure - Great product! Why Nintendo didn't include bluetooth in the switch is a mystery to me, probably so they can sell an updated version later... Things I liked: - Well built - Intuitive connection and interface (two buttons only) - Ability to pair two headphones - Multiple codecs supported - Ability to connect to Switch dock and stream to headphone (allows me to play on the TV AND let the babies sleep) - Accessories included are top notch (usb-c to usb-a adapter, microphone, small carrying case) - Better price and quality compared to similar products - Incredible customer service, responded right away to my inquiries Things that could improve: - Documentation - more troubleshooting steps or ideas in documentation - Website needs to include documentation and support for device - A little bit of wobble when attached to Switch (still very secure) - No usb-c passthrough (this would make the adapter a lot bulkier and isn't really feasible but I would like to be able to charge my switch at the same time) I use Bose QC35, my headphones had a little audio lag but that was due to the codec used by my headphones, if you have Bose QC35 don't buy a new pair they'll work just fine but if you are looking for headphones for this adapter choose something that supports a lower latency codec. Also, if you are having trouble with the Switch recognizing the adapter try restarting the switch with the adapter connected.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Bluetooth Audio Solution for your Switch
*by A***S on April 24, 2019*

When I got the Nintendo Switch, I was quite bummed to know that I wouldn't be able to use my BT headphones and needed to patch in via cable. It's not a huge deal, but it was rather an inconvenience. So I found this adapter, which came highly recommended from some connections. After about a week of usage, I couldn't be happier with the product. It was very easy to connect to my headphones, the sound is great, no noticeable lag and it comes with some extra accessories I didn't see myself using until I had them. The instructions that came with the box was pretty straightforward, simply plug in the device, power on your switch, push and hold a button and pair! Included with the box came a travel pouch (very convenient), a microphone that plugs into the headphone port for voice chat capability and a USB adapter for when you want to use your headphones while the Switch is docked. Now some things I would point out comes down to the type of headphones you have, and making sure you do your research. In order to reduce the amount of audio lag, you'll want to make sure that your headphones are aptX or aptX LL capable. If not, then you'll experience some really bad lag. I used this product on three separate headphones and two of them have aptX codecs, so they worked perfectly fine. The third pair of headphones did not have aptX and the lag was definitely noticeable. So if you have older headphones, chances are they are not aptX capable. Outside of BT technology limitations, the only "actual" negative about the product that I could find is that I couldn't use the kickstand on the Switch when this was plugged in. Sometimes I like to lay on the floor with the Joy Con Grip to play games, but you'll need to prop it against something.......not a big issue but I could see others running to this as well, especially those that travel on airplanes. Overall, for only $40 it's a great solution to something Nintendo should've included from the start and I'm very happy with the results. I highly recommend this adapter for anyone wanting a wireless solution for their Switch.
